Just imagine becoming a technological genius: turn alphabet soup noodles into a functioning keyboard, control your video games using a controller you draw with pencil, or play piano just by dancing on the stairs. Now, you can have the tools to do just that! The Makey Makey is a brilliantly simple way of getting anyone (young or old) excited about electronics. It contains three basic elements: the Makey Makey circuit board; alligator clips, to connect the board to everyday objects; and a USB cable, to connect with any computer. That combination allows you to transform almost anything into a "key" that tells your computer what to do, whether that's typing a letter or controlling a game character. The Makey Makey board requires no special tools, and is simple enough for children to use. But, also built in are additional capabilities such as expanded keyboard ports and arduino compatibility allowing users to invent even more elaborate devices as your experience grows.
